A new International airport, El Catey, in a mature phase of construction is planned to be operational by the summer of 2006 and will provide for easy travel to Las Terrenas, a mere 25 minute drive away.
For the time being the simplest way to come to DREAMWAYS Real Estate is landing at Santo Domingo (SDQ) or Puerto Plata (POP).

Fly with a Private or Charter Plane from Santo Domingo Higuero/La Isabela to El Portillo Airport. Prices depend on the number of passengers and can be as low as 60$ a person. El Portillo airport is located within 5 minutes from DREAMWAYS Real Estate.
The Drive today is about 4 hours from Santo Domingo. There are many rental and taxi services available on spot with reasonable pricing. Important is to note, however, that the new highway under construction between Santo Domingo and Samaná will significantly ease travel from the capital to DREAMWAYS Real Estate to a drive of 90 minutes.
From Puerto Plata:
Charter Planes are also available from Puerto Plata to El Portillo airport. It depends on the number of passengers. El Portillo airport is located within 5 minutes from DREAMWAYS Real Estate.
Drive is around two hours and a half. There are many rental and taxi services available on spot with reasonable pricing
